What Solo, Solo Plus and Team each include, and what Salon Wizard does not do in any plan.

Features by plan

Each plan includes everything in the plan before it. A tick means the feature is included in that plan, a dash that it is not.

Salon Wizard comes in three plans, and each includes everything in the one before. Solo covers online booking, client records and automatic email confirmations and reminders. Solo Plus adds your own website, a customer area with login, recurring appointments and insights. Team adds staff management, absences and roles; one location is included, and more can be added for a fixed surcharge. No plan has a till, a loyalty programme, memberships or online payment; everything else that is missing is listed under “What Salon Wizard does not do”.

Prices and add-ons are on the pricing page.

What Salon Wizard does not do

None of the following is in any plan. Better to read it here than to find out after you have set everything up.

  • Loyalty programme

No points, stamp cards or rewards.

  • Memberships, packages and gift vouchers

Each service is booked on its own, at its own price. Nothing is sold in advance or redeemed later.

  • Consultation forms and signatures

No intake, consultation or consent forms, and no signing on screen. A client record has one free-text note.

  • Online payment, deposits and no-show fees

Clients cannot pay when they book. You can mark a missed appointment as a no-show, but nothing is charged.

  • Till, receipts and tips

Salon Wizard records no payments, so it does not replace your till.

  • Invoices and accounting

No invoices and no bookkeeping. The revenue shown in insights is worked out from the prices of booked services, not from payments.

  • Newsletters and campaigns

No bulk emails. Salon Wizard sends emails about appointments, plus, from Solo Plus, one request per client for a Google review if you switch it on.

  • Waiting list

When no time fits, a client can send you a request for a preferred date instead, and you answer it.

  • Calendar sync

No two-way sync with Google or Apple calendars and no calendar feed for you or your team. Clients get a calendar file with the confirmation of each single booking.

  • Importing or exporting clients

The client list cannot be imported or exported. New clients are added with their first online booking or by hand; the only export is insights as CSV, from Solo Plus.

Does Salon Wizard have …?

Does Salon Wizard have integrated online booking?

Yes, in every plan. Clients book around the clock on your booking page on plan-it-now, or through a booking widget you add to a website you already have; from Solo Plus they can also book on your own Salon Wizard website. You decide whether a booking is confirmed straight away or waits until you accept it. Clients get a confirmation email with a calendar file, and reminders before the appointment at the times you set.

Does Salon Wizard have an integrated loyalty programme?

No. There are no points, stamp cards or rewards. What you do have is each client's visit history: the client list sorts by number of appointments and by last visit, so you can see who your regulars are and who has not been back for a while, and each record keeps a free-text note for what you want to remember at the next visit.

Does Salon Wizard have treatment plan features?

Partly. From Solo Plus you can set up a series of appointments for a client: every few days, weeks or months, or once a year, with a preferred time, team member and service, and an end date if you want one. You can pause a series and move, skip or cancel individual appointments in it. There is no treatment plan with a fixed number of sessions, and clients cannot book a series online themselves.

Recurring appointments in the client records

Does Salon Wizard have consultation or intake forms?

No. There is no consultation, intake or consent form, and no signing on screen. Each client record has one free-text note, for things like a colour formula. If you need a signed record of allergies on paper, our free client record card template has a consent field and a signature line in its beauty and nail versions; it runs in your browser and stores nothing.

Does Salon Wizard have marketing features?

Partly. There are no newsletters, campaigns or bulk emails. What helps you get found and booked: in every plan, your booking page on plan-it-now and a QR code for it; from Solo Plus, your own website with gallery and reviews; and from Solo Plus, an automatic email that asks each client once for a Google review after a completed appointment, if you switch it on and connect your Google profile.

What the salon website includes

Does Salon Wizard have membership and package features?

No. There are no memberships, packages, prepaid bundles or gift vouchers: each service is booked on its own, with its own price and duration. For clients who come in at regular intervals, there are appointment series from Solo Plus; a series books the dates, it does not bill or count a package.

Does Salon Wizard have staff management?

Yes, in the Team plan. Each team member has their own working hours, vacation allowance and calendar, which you can filter by person and location. You enter absences, team members request vacation or report sick, and you approve; when an absence clashes with booked appointments you can reassign them, cancel them or send the client new times to choose from. Team members sign in with the role Staff or Manager and see their own calendar, requests and absences. Solo and Solo Plus have one staff profile and one location; Team includes one location, and more can be added for a fixed surcharge.

Does Salon Wizard have a till or point-of-sale system?

No. Salon Wizard has no till, prints no receipts and records neither how a client paid nor any tip. Clients cannot pay online either: there are no deposits and no no-show fees. Your services and prices are shown on your booking page, and you take payment with the till or card terminal you already use.

Does Salon Wizard have accounting or invoicing?

No. Salon Wizard writes no invoices and does no bookkeeping. From Solo Plus, insights show revenue, utilisation and clients for a period you choose, with an optional weekly report by email and a CSV export per tab. That revenue is worked out from the prices of booked services, not from payments, so it does not replace your books.
