Do I lose reach without a marketplace?
A marketplace makes you visible to people who do not know you yet – borrowed reach, which disappears again along with the profile. Reach that stands on your own name and your own address stays yours. Your own booking page serves first the clients who already know you and come back; they need no go-between to find their way to you.
Can I keep using Booksy alongside it?
Yes. Many salons keep a marketplace profile for new clients and steer their regulars to their own booking page. The two do not rule each other out.
Does Salon Wizard charge per staff member?
No. In the Team plan staff are included at no extra cost, whatever the size of your team. Only additional locations cost a fixed, transparent add-on that you see before you book.
What happens to my client data?
You set up your client records in Salon Wizard and they stay yours, on servers in Germany. What a platform has stored about your clients is governed by its own terms – one more reason to bring the relationship onto your own page.
How does the billing model differ from Booksy?
Booksy bills the business app per user; payment processing and hardware are not included, according to Booksy. Salon Wizard charges one plan with the team inside it. We deliberately do not quote other providers' figures – they change, while the model stays comparable.
Can I take my client data with me from Booksy?
Ask for the export before you cancel, while your access still exists. Which fields a platform releases, and in which format, it decides for itself; a promise about that is not ours to give. In Salon Wizard you set up records, services and opening hours afterwards.
Do I lose bookings if I leave the marketplace?
The referred ones, yes – they come through the profile and end with it. Regulars follow your new address if you tell them about it. Because the two do not rule each other out, many salons leave the profile running at first and redirect the returning clients before anything else.
How long does the move take?
That depends on how many services, staff and locations you carry over – which is why we do not promise a timeframe. Building it and looking at it is free and needs no payment details, so you can prepare at your leisure and set the moment of the switch yourself.
