Zenoti Alternative

The Zenoti alternative without a quote and a rollout

Zenoti is built for scale: single sites up to enterprise franchises, with point of sale, payroll, inventory and marketing automation in one system and structured onboarding and staff training around it. None of that is a flaw – it is a different kind of purchase. Its price is not published, and multi-location pricing is customised to your footprint, in Zenoti's own words. Salon Wizard sits at the small end of that spectrum: priced in public, and set up by you.

Why salons switch to Salon Wizard

Commission is not what separates us

Neither of us takes a share of the individual appointment – Zenoti is not a marketplace and sells a subscription, so that is not a difference and we will not dress it up as one. It is not a figure we could quote either, because Zenoti publishes no commercial terms at all. What differs is where the price is settled. Ours is published and the same for everyone who books that plan; a Zenoti price is assembled per business, with add-on packages on top and voice, text and messaging billed by consumption.

Your page is live the same day

Your guests book on your own page under your own name – and so they do at Zenoti, whose webstore and app carry your brand as well, so this is not a difference and we will not sell it as one. What differs is how you get there: here the page is part of the plan and live the same day, without an implementation project around it.

Data in Germany, GDPR-compliant

Your client records sit on servers in Germany and belong to you. Zenoti's own privacy notice states that personal data may be transferred, processed and stored anywhere in the world, including the United States and India – it says so publicly, so this is not a matter of what a contract hides. Anything more precise for your own account is something to ask them, and worth asking if the location matters to you.

Your whole team at no extra cost

Staff are included in the Team plan, however many you have, and a further location costs a fixed surcharge you can read in advance. At Zenoti, multi-location pricing is customised to your footprint – exactly right for a franchise, and heavy going for a salon that has just opened a second room.

Switch in a few steps

  1. Create your account

Sign up, name your salon, add your opening hours – no payment details.

  2. Add services and team

Set up treatments with duration and price, then add your staff. Included in the Team plan at no extra cost.

  3. Publish your booking page

Your page goes live and guests book under your brand – every appointment is yours.

What switching actually changes

Moving from an enterprise suite to a small one changes three things, and only one of them is the price.

  1. The purchase stops being a project

No quote, no scoping call, no implementation window. You sign up, build it and go live when you decide – a real gain for one salon and a real loss for twenty.

  2. The bill stops being bespoke

A negotiated contract is priced around your footprint, so no two are alike and comparing them is hard. A published plan is the same for everyone, including the salon down the road – a fairness you only notice once you have had the other kind.

  3. The suite shrinks to the salon floor

Payroll, inventory and the till stay behind. What comes with you is the calendar, the client record and the invoice – the parts a small salon actually opens every day.

What you keep, what you give up

What you keep

The calendar and staff scheduling, services with duration and price, online booking around the clock, client records with history and recurring appointments, and your own booking page. The whole team is included in the Team plan at no extra cost.

What you give up

The suite. Point of sale, payments, payroll, inventory, the medspa workflows and the guided onboarding around them all stay with Zenoti, and so does the branded mobile app under your own name in the app stores, together with the gift cards, memberships and packages its webstore sells. We offer no certified till of any kind and build no app at all. For a franchise with dozens of sites this comparison ends in their favour, and we would rather say so than argue it away.

Frequently asked questions about the Zenoti alternative

Is Zenoti too big for my salon?

That is your call, not ours. Zenoti addresses businesses of all sizes and explicitly serves multi-location brands, and the depth is real: payroll, inventory, medspa workflows, AI agents in the upper package. If you need those, we are not the answer. If your week is appointments, clients and invoices, a suite that size is weight.

Why is there no Zenoti price on this page?

Because Zenoti publishes none, and we will not invent one. Its pricing page leads to a quote or a demo, and it states that multi-location pricing is customised based on your footprint and needs. Our own price is on our pricing page, the same for everyone who books that plan.

Does Salon Wizard charge per staff member?

No. Staff are included in the Team plan at no extra cost, whatever the size of your team. Only additional locations cost a fixed surcharge, and you can read it before you commit to anything.

How long does the switch take?

That depends on how many services, staff and locations you carry over, so we promise no timeframe. What we can describe is what the process is not: there is no onboarding project to book and no training week to plan. You build it, look at it, and go live when it is ready.

How does the billing model differ from Zenoti?

Zenoti assembles a quote per business, adds optional packages, and bills voice, text and messaging by consumption. Salon Wizard charges one published plan with the team inside it, and only a further location moves it. We deliberately name no figure of theirs – there is none published to name.

What do I give up without an implementation team?

The hand-holding, honestly. Zenoti offers structured onboarding, staff training and migration support; we offer a product you set up yourself and support when you get stuck. For a group moving many sites at once that difference is decisive, and it points at them.

Can I take my client data with me from Zenoti?

Ask about the export while your contract is live, and check what your agreement says about it. What a platform releases, and in which format, is its own decision and not something we can promise on its behalf. Records, services and hours you then set up here.

Does my salon need a point of sale?

That depends on the country you invoice in – ask whether your law requires a certified security device for electronic tills, and from what point. In Germany that is the case for cash trade with an electronic till. Zenoti includes point of sale, payments and payroll. Salon Wizard is deliberately not a till and will not become one: appointments, client records and invoices are what we do.

Is Salon Wizard right for your business?

A comparison answers the price question. It does not answer the question of fit. What each plan contains is on the pricing page – how Salon Wizard works in the day-to-day of your trade is what the vertical pages beside it show, each with the services, routines and examples that are usual there.
